Our Team
The West Carroll Parish Tourism Commission was created thanks to the West Carroll Parish Police Jury. The Commission is made up of dedicated community leaders who share a passion for strengthening the parish and showcasing what makes it special. Board members Clark Strange, Zac Crymes, Abby Lingo, Molly Henderson, Amy Hale, Will Hale, and Kyle Harper bring a wide range of experience in business, agriculture, healthcare, community service, and local development.
Together, the board works to highlight West Carroll Parish’s rich history, strong agricultural roots, welcoming small-town culture, and natural beauty along Bayou Macon. Their vision is to support local businesses, promote community events, and encourage thoughtful growth that benefits residents and visitors alike. By investing in the parish’s cultural, historical, and recreational assets, the commission aims to create opportunities that help West Carroll Parish remain a place families are proud to call home while also attracting visitors to experience its authentic charm.
Guided by the slogans “Live Local” and “See West Carroll,” the commission encourages residents and visitors to support hometown businesses, celebrate community traditions, and discover the unique experiences our parish offers. These messages reflect a commitment to strengthening local pride while sharing the story of West Carroll Parish with others.
The commission believes that when a community invests in itself — supporting local businesses, preserving its history, and creating places where people enjoy living — it naturally becomes a place others want to experience. Through collaboration, creativity, and stewardship, the board is committed to building a parish that honors its heritage while embracing opportunities for thoughtful growth.
